FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE 10th Annual Youth Outdoor Safari Day Youth Outdoor Safari Day July 19, 2008 will be held at: Raahauge’s Shooting Complex 14955 River Road, Corona, CA 92880 The Tenth Annual Youth Outdoor Safari Day, destined to be bigger and better than ever with more and expanded activities and exhibits, will be held Saturday July 19, 2008 at Mike Raahauge’s Shooting Enterprises complex in Corona between the 91 and 60 freeways. Hours are 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. It is a great opportunity to view and participate in a variety of outdoor activities, and again this year features a personal appearance from members of the Olympic Shooting Team, said John Whipple, President of the Orange County chapter of SCI. This unique and growing outdoor event that sees more than 3,000 kids and their families each year offers something for the kid in us all said Brenie Mizrahi, President of the Los Angeles Chapter of SCI. The Los Angeles and Orange County Safari Club International Chapters again will sponsor this special event where youngsters can meet the outdoors, according to Mike Raahauge, whose recreational shooting and outdoors facility is hosting this exceptional event. Kids can experience first hand an exciting array of fun activities, including archery, BB guns, kayaking, Laser Shot, making game calls, painting duck decoys, paintball games, take a walk through the Sensory Safari Van, and view unbelievable shooting exhibitions. Also kids can catch fish, see hawks and falcons up close, talk with modern mountain men, cowboys, and win outdoor prizes in the kid’s raffle. This is a perfect place for scoutmasters and urban families to bring their kids to experience first hand a wide variety of outdoor activities, said Dennis Anderson, the Chairman of Youth Outdoor Safari Day. The best part is that all of this is only $30 dollars per family with pre-registration or $40 the day of the event; which includes lunch for everyone and all the outdoor activities.
